Junior Admin & Support

This role is for someone wanting to start out in a junior support and administration role. Your job will be to support and back up the Admin and Support manager, along with our staff and customers.
The Job Description for this role:
- E-mail and Ticketing Support
- Phone Support - Account enquiries and General Support
- Staff Job delegation and time management
- Installation appointment setting
- Monthly Billing reconciliation
- Documentation Updating
- Job Card preparation work
- Requires reasonable understanding of how to use a computer
- Must be a good human being and want to have fun
Field Fibre Technician
- We are looking for a Fibre Technician Ninja!
Vine Networks builds owns and operates its own optical fibre network, from local loop to last mile, this requires ground staff to help with our constant expansions, upgrades, repairs and maintenance work.
- Must have an Open Cablers registration card with full Fibre Endorsements and Lead-In endorsements
- Must know how to use a Optical Splicing Machine for SMOF
- Must know how to work within joints with careful considerations
- Must be willing to do short hauls <300 Meters per span
- Must be willing to do lead-ins and the internal builds
- Must know how to work with conduits and able to saddle them
- Be willing to upgrade their skill sets by vendor training
- Know how to dress, prep and park a cable in an FTP or Joint


Junior Labourer
- As a junior labourer, you role will be to assist the field staff with general labourering duties. This role does have pathways for upskilling and progression over time.
- Help field staff with hauling fibre
- Help field staff with installing services both externally and internally
- General maintenance of equipemnt including plant equipment
- Know or be willing to learn how to use a Drill and other forms of equipment that will be used out in the field
- General hand/assistance

What happens after I submit my application?
After we review your application details and, if no site visit is required, our support team will activate your service same day. You will receive an email confirming your plan, connection settings and credentials to access Vine MyAccount portal.
Are there any cancellation fees?
There are no cancellation fees on our month-to-month service. Your service will disconnected 30 days after initial notice is given.
How do I pay my Vine bill?
Payment can be arranged via the My Account portal here. Your account credentials were sent to you in your welcome email upon service activation.
How do I change my plan?
You can change your plan at any time by contacting the team on (07) 5405 2500 or by sending an email to resident@vinenetworks.com
Do I need a technician to set up my connection?
You will be notified at the time of sign up whether a site visit will be required however, in most cases, a technician is generally not required.
How do I set up my WiFi network?
Our WiFi modems come preconfigured to work on our network only requiring your account credentials to get started.
For third-party modems, please check the user manual for instructions or contact our support team to point you in the right direction.
What do I do if my service stops working?
You can contact our customer support team on (07) 5405 2500 for assistance, between 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday or send us an email to resident@vinenetworks.com.au
Can I keep the WiFi modem if I cancel my service?
Any equipment that is loaned to the customer remains the property of Vine Direct Pty Ltd. Should the equipment become lost, misplaced, stolen or damaged, the customer will be responsible for the full cost of replacing the equipment, cables and any labour costs associated with the repair or replacement.
